Rejuvenation for Your Body, Mind and Spirit:
Kashi Atlanta
Ten Day Yoga Detox
(From Creative Loafing:) It goes without
saying that Kashi Atlanta’s 10-DAY YOGA
DETOX isn’t, um, a cakewalk. No sugar,
no caffeine, no alcohol and a three-day juice fast
could lead many to believe it’s more of an exercise
in masochism. But the mutual support and gentle guidance
provided at this friendly spiritual community in Candler
Park makes the carefully constructed rejuvenation
program more like a fun and rewarding quest. The detox,
which is based on Ayurvedic health principles, includes
a rigorous schedule of unusual potions, breathing
exercises and yoga classes. It’ll leave you
with less weight, more energy and a new sense of balance.
And, compared to fancy spa retreats, it’s a
deal at $200. |

Kashi Wins
Best Yoga!
Atlanta magazine’s 2008 Reader’s Choice Best of Atlanta awards voted Kashi Atlanta the Best Yoga in the city.
"Workout for Your Body and Soul - While we highly recommend the yoga classes at this Candler Park ashram (especially the Saturday morning session led by spiritual leader Jaya Devi), you don't have to be able to tie yourself into a pretzel to have a transcendental experience. Kashi also offers community service programs in which participantsprepare and serve meals to the homeless, coordinate art projects for children's hospitals, and care for the critically ill."

Immerse in the River of the Heart
with Swami Jaya Devi Bhagavati, RYT 500
The river of the Heart is always available to us. When we are in the river of the heart, we are immersed in a space of love where we can learn to trust in a deeper way. We are able to stay in a space of openheartedness regardless of what comes at us. Our need to get caught in the dramas of life become less when we are immersed in the Self. Learn how to connect to the depth within through the practices of meditation, yoga, kirtan, and breathwork. Learn how to use these practices to live with the heart wide open, and create a life of depth and clarity.
Swami Jaya Devi Bhagavati, RYT 500, teaches meditation, yoga philosophy and spirituality internationally. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Kashi Atlanta, voted "Atlanta's Best Yoga" annually by Creative Loafing Magazine since 2000, and has been voted "Best Yoga Instructor" by Creative Loafing for the past two years. Her lectures and meditations were featured in the TV show "Sacred Spaces" and in the documentary film "Imagine Peace." She has also appeared on CNN, CBS, PBS and NPR as an expert in using meditation and yoga to reduce stress and achieve a balanced, peaceful life. She was given the title of Yoga Acharya, Master Teacher of Yoga, and initiated as one of Ma Jaya's sanyas in May 2008. Swami Jaya Devi is a powerful, insightful teacher whose passion for humanity is evident in her warm teaching style, her wisdom and her deep commitment to living compassion.
