Spring Karma Yoga Project: Kashi Students Deliver Backpacks to the Homeless

On Friday, this year's Classical Yoga Teachers Training students gathered together in the spirit of karma yoga to fill 300 backpacks with useful items for men, women and children living on the streets in Atlanta. For several months prior, the students collected backpacks, toiletries, tshirts, and bottled waters, and baked over 600 homemade cookies to give to the homeless in Atlanta.

On Saturday, Classical Yoga Teacher Training students and staff delivered over 300 backpacks to men women and children living at Peachtree & Pine emergency shelter and in nearby parks. The backpacks were filled with toiletries, t-shirts, water bottles, and homemade cookies by the students the previous evening. The delivery was the culmination of months of hard work and anticipation of meeting and spending the afternoon with some new and old Kashi friends.
