Ten Day Yoga Detox Participants Break Their Fast at Kashi

Joyful detox participants gathered together September 13th to break their fast in a Lungar (a traditional Sikh meal). Participants, sitting on the ground, were served a detoxifying soup and Indian Rice prepared by chefs Gita McMann and Trishula Eltz. Soup and rice never tasted so good!

Before breaking their fast, participants joined in a detoxifying yoga class lead by Candika. Jaya Devi then lead a mini-workshop where she answered questions about the detoxification process and reminded participants to move with awareness over the next few days of the Ten Day Yoga Detox, as they began to introduce solid food back into their diet.
