Best Rejuvenation for Your Body, Mind and Spirit:
Kashi Atlanta

Ten Day Yoga Detox

(From Creative Loafing:) It goes without saying that Kashi Atlanta’s 10-DAY YOGA DETOX isn’t, um, a cakewalk. No sugar, no caffeine, no alcohol and a three-day juice fast could lead many to believe it’s more of an exercise in masochism. But the mutual support and gentle guidance provided at this friendly spiritual community in Candler Park makes the carefully constructed rejuvenation program more like a fun and rewarding quest. The detox, which is based on Ayurvedic health principles, includes a rigorous schedule of unusual potions, breathing exercises and yoga classes. It’ll leave you with less weight, more energy and a new sense of balance. And, compared to fancy spa retreats, it’s a deal at $200.

Best of Atlanta

Kashi Wins
Best Yoga!

Atlanta magazine’s 2008 Reader’s Choice Best of Atlanta awards voted Kashi Atlanta the Best Yoga in the city.

"Workout for Your Body and Soul - While we highly recommend the yoga classes at this Candler Park ashram (especially the Saturday morning session led by spiritual leader Jaya Devi), you don't have to be able to tie yourself into a pretzel to have a transcendental experience. Kashi also offers community service programs in which participantsprepare and serve meals to the homeless, coordinate art projects for children's hospitals, and care for the critically ill."

of Happiness

Opening the Third Eye: Expanding Awareness and Compassion
Workshop and Private Readings
with Uma Simon

Many people think opening the third eye is just a vehicle for becoming more psychic and seeing all kinds of interesting things about themselves and others. While true, it is much, much more. The third eye is actually the gateway of knowing one's connection to their divine spirit. When one sees from the third eye as opposed to physically seeing, one sees how the former can lead to judgment or discrimination and how the latter opens one to compassion and great awareness. read more
