Mastering the Basics: Balancing Vata
with Isvari Verre & Skanda Miraglia, RYTs

Join Senior Yoga Instructors Isvari Verre and Skanda Miraglia in this 3 hour workshop that will teach you how to use your yoga practice to become more grounded and “Balance Vata” on and off the mat.

According to Ayurvedic traditions, everyone has a certain constitution. Vata is the constitution associated with the element of air. A vata imbalance manifests in us as anxiety, fear and the inability to ground and commit. Because of the tendencies and stresses of the world today, (never feeling like you have enough time, hurrying, multi tasking, fear of financial times, caffeine and alcohol) a vata imbalance is prevalent. When we learn to ground and be more fully in our bodies through our yoga practice, these vata tendencies dissipate and we feel more connected and present.

When we learn how to tap into the power of foundation, our yoga practice takes on a stable and very earth like quality. This workshop will concentrate on many 1st chakra poses but will also teach you how to make any pose more balancing and grounding.

Come balance your energy and fine tune your yoga practice by connecting to your foundation; strengthen your legs, your pelvis, your core and balance your vata on and off the mat.

Sunday, February 7 from 1-4 pm - $40/$35 by Feb. 1, and for returning students.
