Workshops - Kashi Atlanta

Yoga for Anxiety and Depression
with Devaki, Priya Devi and Rama Devi

Anxiety and depression separate you from your body, your true Self, and your beloved. In this workshop, we will explore techniques to reconnect with your innate nature and manage your anxiety and depression.
Based in Classical and Kali Natha Yoga, the workshop will cover pranayama (breathwork), asana (yoga postures), mantra, mudra, and meditation specifically beneficial for anxiety and depression.

Yoga Instructors Devaki Jaya, Rama Devi, and Priya Devi (who is also a psychotherapist) will lead you through an asana practice designed to meet you where you are and guide you toward a greater sense of balance.

We will then engage in a more in depth practice of breath, mantra, and asana to alleviate and manage anxiety and depression. The practices will be interspersed with opportunities for you to share your experience of each practice and ask questions.

The workshop is designed to provide the tools for you to create a personal practice for your needs. You will receive a handout of the practices covered and additional resources to aid you in discovering your own practice.

Sunday, March 28 from 1-4:30 pm - $45 ($40 by March 20 or monthly unlimited customers)
